Toddler Learn to Swim Programme

The Aquability Toddler Learn to Swim programme helps children aged 2 to 3 build confidence, safety and independently movement in the water. Whether your child is moving up from our Baby Swim classes or joining us for the very first time, our expert led syllabus balances vital safety skills with the foundational movements needed for future swimming strokes.

  1. Shrimp: Children develop water confidence with instructor support. This level focuses on gentle submersions, breath control, and core safety skills. Swimmers practice rolling from front to back (and back to front) while using their arms and legs for basic propulsion, as well as pool navigation to exits. It consolidates skills developed in Parent and Baby swimming, or introduces them for the first time.
  2. Pufferfish: Children transition the skills learned and developed into independent movement. Building directly on our Shrimp curriculum, this level empowers children to perform the water activities completely on their own, developing their safety skills further and laying early coordination groundwork for future strokes.
