ASK ABOUT OUR SWIMMING TEACHER TRAINING
Our training courses are designed for individuals across the Caribbean who are passionate about water safety and want to become certified swimming teachers. No previous teaching experience is required, making it ideal for beginners looking to start a rewarding career in aquatics.
With our region surrounded by the sea, swimming is not just a sport; it’s a vital life skill. Our courses prepare learners to confidently teach both children and adults, from non-swimmers to advanced swimmers, helping to build safer communities in and around the water.
Participants will gain practical, hands-on experience in planning and delivering engaging swimming lessons, while developing strong communication and teaching techniques suited to a wide range of learners.
Upon successful completion, learners will receive the recognised STA International Swimming Teacher Certificate.
Graduates will be equipped to teach essential water safety and survival skills, all four swimming strokes, and progressive lessons that support swimmer development at every level. The course also covers lesson planning, evaluation, teaching strategies, and key safety and hygiene practices, ensuring instructors are confident, competent, and ready to make a positive impact across the Caribbean.
